Design

The Nespresso CitiZ D120 Automatic Espresso and Aeroccino Milk Frother has a design that is reminiscent of 1950’s diners. Highlighted with chrome accents, this machine gives you an ideal cup of espresso with a built-in Aeroccino for making milk-based drinks such as lattes and cappuccinos. Upon looking at the machine, you’re first enthralled by the chrome. The spigot, drip trays and accents are all chrome, which complement the machine no matter what color you decide to get it in. The colors available are black, white, fire-engine red, limousine black and silver chrome; there’s a color that suits every style and taste.

What you won’t see on the machine are unnecessary knobs or displays. This machine is stylish yet simple. The bells and whistles are inside the machine, not on the outside.

Aeroccino

When using the aeroccino to make your favorite cappuccino, fret not. It’s just as user-friendly as the rest of the device. Simply put in your desired amount of milk, push the start button and fill your cup with the hot milk. Brew your espresso and voila! A freshly made milk-based coffee drink that you didn’t have to order from a barista. The Aeroccino being integrated with the espresso machine doesn’t create a clunky design like you might imagine, although it’s not quite as seamless as other cappuccino makers. The Aeroccino sits at the back of the left-hand side of the device and it, too, is highlighted with chrome features. One single button is on display at the front of the Aeroccino portion of the machine.

Approximately 87 percent of the reviews were 5-star; 11 percent were 4-star and the remaining 2 percent were 1- and 2-star reviews. Like with other Nespresso machines, the Nespresso CitiZ Automatic Espresso and Milk Frother gets poor reviews for the cost of the pods.
