DeLonghi’s long been known for their stylish designs and advanced features that deliver only the best in coffee and coffee drinks. The Magnifica offers a stainless steel body accented with minimal black features and an advanced-yet-easy control panel for users of every skill level.
The control panel offers a rotary dial and push-button control system with various menu and customization settings. The menu settings include temperature, five coffee strength settings and four cup size settings. These settings allow you to make your favorite drink at the touch of a button, no matter if it’s a single shot of espresso or a tall macchiato latte.
With the “at the push of a button” mentality behind the machine, you can easily switch between your drinks, grind your beans and steam your milk without having to have a Ph.D in physics.
The integrated grinder is almost completely hidden within the machine, unlike most other machines on the market. Instead of sticking far above the top, it’s a small difference that adds to the sleek lines of the machine. The DeLonghi Magnifica XS uses the patented Direct-to-Brew system that allows you to instantly grind your beans for your perfect coffee. It’s also removable which makes cleaning simpler than with other machines. The bean container also features a darkened, flavor-saving lid with a seal that keeps your beans fresh. Grind settings allow you to adjust the fineness for your favorite brews.
Since “easy to use” is the name of the game for the DeLonghi Magnifica XS, the machine will tell you when it needs to get cleaned and take the guess work out of maintenance with a decalcification indicator. The built-in water filtration system also allows you to use water from your tap — no more filtered water needed to get your coffee tasting as good as possible.
