Although it slightly resembles a manual air pump — Aerobie is actually more known for its sport toys than espresso machines, it really couldn’t be simpler to use. Simply place a microfilter in, put in your measured coffee grounds, fill with hot water, fit the plunger and apply pressure. That’s it. Each measured scoop from the AeroPress scoop delivers one shot of espresso or 5 oz of American coffee. You simply place the device over a sturdy cup or mug and allow the gentle pressure you’re applying to press out the best, richest coffee. When you’re done, you can add water for an Americano or milk for a cappuccino.
