DeLonghi Perfecta ESAM 5500.M – $1,419
The Perfecta ESAM 5500.M offers all the features of the other Perfectas. The 5500.M has the same Single Touch Hot Milk System that the other Perfectas. It has the easy cleaning indicator and cup warmer, it has a couple of things the Perfecta SL does not have. It has a rotary dial and buttons. The same delicious coffee experience is featured as in all DeLonghi machines. The freshness achieved by special lids and processes found in this machine and other DeLonghi provides their owners with that guarantee. The Perfecta may not have all the bells and whistles of the Grans, but it has the same great coffee experience.
DeLonghi Magnifica Models
DeLonghi Magnifica S ECAM 23.450.SL – $1,499
DeLonghi Magnifica S ECAM 23.450.SL is another spectacular DeLonghi automatic espresso machine. Cappuccinos and lattes are made easy with the digital menu system. The digital menu system which is found in the full size machines is only one of the many features found in the more compact machine. Its size provides up to a 77% of energy savings. The savings of energy does not change the wonderful aromatic and taste enjoyment that DeLonghi machines delivers consistently. The Magnifica S ECAM 23.450.SL is a magnificent little machine that produces big taste.
DeLonghi Magnifica ECAM 23.210.B – $849 on sale (normally $1,400)
The DeLonghi Magnifica ECAM 23.210.B stands out in the Magnifica line at first glance. Its dark elegance is an eye grabber. It also differs from the SL in that it has a rotary dial and push buttons instead of a touch screen. The push button and rotary dial is a definite plus to many. The elegant shading and look is an esthetic plus making it somewhat unique among DeLonghi products. The entire coffee experience is kept up to DeLonghi par with features as Cappuccino System Frothing and bean grinding processes performed. This model is our favorite in this list for all the features it offer, the overall quality and design, the quality of coffee it delivers every time and its price. Under $1000 this is one of the best machine you can get. Highly recommended.
DeLonghi Maginifica S ECAM 22.110.SB – $714.95
The DeLonghi Maginifica S ECAM 22.110.SB is one of DeLonghi’s compact machines. This machine opts for the more conventional approach to setting your brew time and number of cups. The rotary dial and push buttons are welcomed by traditionalists opting out of DeLonghi’s ultra modern touch screen. These traditionalists have not optedout of a wonderful coffee experience. Many of the features found in the all inclusive Gran are present in this little dynamo of a machine. The patented Cappuccino System Frothing is one of its features. The wonderful taste of coffee is a feature that is always produced by Delonghi.
Delonghi Magnifica ESAM 3500 – $1,149
The Delonghi Magnifica ESAM 3500 is wonderfully simple machine. The Single Touch Hot Milk System is the foundation of its wonderful simplicity. The programmable menu simply adds to the process. The Magnifica has features found on the more elaborate models all of which are designed to keep the coffee experience about the beverage, not the process. No matter whether cappuccino or latte, the process before or after the making of the beverage will become a deterrence of the coffee experience The Magnifica ESAM 3500 preserves the coffee experience.
DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 3300 – $645
The DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 3300 should not be viewed as the basic model. There is nothing basic about any of the DeLonghi super automatic family of products. The Single Touch System that is seen on most of the DeLonghi espresso machines may be missing but nothing is loss in its capability to produce a wonderful tasting cappuccino. The Single Touch Hot Milk System maintains the level of taste and expected in the Delonghi machines. A warm cup, a fresh tasting brew, and ease of use and cleaning are all present and accounted for in the Magnifica ECAM 3300.
DeLonghi Super Automatic Coffee Machines – Worth The Price?
Well, every features in every DeLonghi Super Automatic coffee machines work very well. They all grind and brew coffee to your like. You just need to choose what coffee type you want to drink today and it will get you what you want. The frothing system is excellent. The materials are of high quality. So of course, the price reflects the size, performance and number of features each machine is equiped with. Is it worth to you is another story. When it comes to investing several hundreds, or even thousands of dollars in a coffee machine you sure don’t want to make a mistake. Hopefully the DeLonghi customer service is usually very responsive to problems, especially when you purchase one of these high end babies.
Not everyone can agree on a specific model, brand. Coffee is appreciated when you drink it, and every one’s taste is different.
To keep your budget under control, have an awesome looking machine, an almost silent grinder and all the features you need and most importantly that will deliver a great coffee, we again reformulate our warm recommendation for the DeLonghi Magnifica ECAM 23.210.B. At only $849, it’s $200 more expensive than the entry ESAM 3300 machine, BUT $1500 cheaper than the Gran Dama models, and it’s an awesome deal. It’s easy to use and clean, really a smart choice. The Magnifica ECAM have a compact design, and still provide an easy access to all parts. For example, adding water from the front is very interesting, no one likes to have to move a machine to remove properly the tank at the back, then put it back in place and set again the machine properly on the counter.

This little single serve coffee maker is an entry model using Nescafe capsules. Though very simple to use it is still capable of delivering gourmet coffees, lattes, cappuccino and even iced beverages. A 15 bar pump pressure will ensure an authentic espresso with a nice cream. You can acontrol the stenght of your drink with the control lever. The special thermoblock heating system this machine is equiped with means there is no preheating required, so you get your cup very fast without wait. The removable drip tray is also adjustable in height, so small and big cups can be used. And finally to save the planet, the DeLonghi Piccolo will get into auto energy-saving stand-by mode after 5 minutes of inactivity. It comes with a 6-count pack of capsules.
The Dolce Gusto Genio is very similar to the Piccolo above and the main difference is in the strenght control. While you need to use the lever with the Piccolo, the Genio lets you customize the strenght with the 7-level LED display controls. This gives you more control and makes the process even easier. Otherwise, it really has the same features and also comes with a pack of capsules. Both above models have a 21-ounce water reservoir.
The Circolo has a circle design, but it doesn’t make it very different from the previous two machines. In fact, it uses the same 15 bar pump pressure, thermoblock heating system for fast and hot brewing, height adjustable drip tray. Just like the Piccolo, you control the strenght of your drink with the custom control lever. You just need to slide a capsule in to make espresso, cappuccino, lattes or iced drinks.
